A call-only container company in Hardin County keeps a short record: the street address, what is going in the box, and where it stands. Here is all of it.

Who this is, and how to reach a person

Elizabethtown Dumpster Rental Co (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs the website at elizabethtowndumpsterrental.com and rents roll-off containers out of the yard at 4675 N Dixie Hwy, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. The telephone is (270) 900-6891. The mailbox, which we use for invoices and account paperwork rather than for booking work, is info@elizabethtowndumpsterrental.com. Revised September 10, 2026.

This page is written the way the rest of this site is written — plainly, and about Elizabethtown rather than about websites in general. It sets out what a container job in Hardin County actually causes us to write down, why each item is on that short list, who else ever sees any of it, and how to make us correct or delete it.

Start here: there is no form anywhere on this site

Look for a “request a quote” box and you will not find one. There is no form on any page of elizabethtowndumpsterrental.com — no booking screen, no callback request, no chat window, no newsletter sign-up, no account to create and no password to lose. Every job begins when somebody dials (270) 900-6891 and a person at the yard picks up.

That started as a decision about sizing rather than about privacy. A container is sized in a two-minute conversation, and in this county there is a second question no form knows to ask, which is which of four governments the address answers to. Privacy is the side effect, and it is a real one: nothing is typed into a page here, so the site is not the place where a record of you begins. The record begins on the call, and it is short.

What a Hardin County container job makes us write down

Three things carry the job, and the first of them matters more in this market than it would in most.

  • The service address — the address, not the mailing town. On this side of Elizabethtown those are not reliably the same thing, and our own street is the proof of it. 4675 N Dixie Hwy sits inside the Elizabethtown city limits. Carry on up the same highway, inside the same ZIP code, with the same city printed on the envelope, and the addresses begin coming back as Radcliff, with ground between the two that belongs to no incorporated place at all. One road, three governments. The address is what tells us whether the placement answers to the City of Elizabethtown on (270) 765-6121, to another city’s own hall, to the Hardin County Planning and Development Commission on (270) 769-5479 where there is no city hall over the ground at all, or to Fort Knox, which is federal land where city and county rules do not reach. On the right-of-way of a numbered route it is a Commonwealth matter instead — KYTC District 4, (270) 766-5146. We keep the address because without it we cannot answer the question you rang to ask.
  • A description of what is going in the box. A line or two: kitchen cabinets and drywall, a single-layer tear-off, slab and footing spoil, forty years of an attic. It is recorded because it decides the size and the weight, and because Kentucky permits disposal facilities by class under 401 KAR 47:005, so what is in a load decides where that load may lawfully go. It is also how we catch, before the truck is loaded, the things that never travel with us at all: whole tires, which KRS 224.50-856 allows to be disposed of only by transfer to a permitted facility; liquids of any kind; and asbestos, ever.
  • Placement notes. Where the box is to stand and what the ground is doing: concrete or gravel, an approach that softens after a wet week, a septic lid and a well head to be kept clear of out on county ground, a low limb or a service drop over the run in, flatwork poured last month. These stay with the job so the second driver reads what the first one wrote.

Alongside those, the ordinary minimum: a name, a phone number, an email address where you offer one, and whatever an invoice has to be raised against. Nothing about your household, your income, your movements or anybody else at the property is asked for or wanted.

What this website records by itself

Opening a page here is an ordinary web request and leaves the ordinary trace. The host, and any analytics tool running on the site, may log an IP address, the browser and device, the page that sent you and which pages were opened. We read that in aggregate — whether the karst guide is being found, whether anybody reaches the Elizabethtown clean-up page before spring — rather than as a record of an individual reader.

One page reaches outside itself. The contact page embeds a Google map of the yard so the turning off the highway can be seen before a driver attempts it; loading that map means your browser talks to Google, on Google’s own terms rather than ours. Every other page is served whole from this site. Nothing here is knowingly collected from anyone under 13.

What any of it is used for

  • Sizing the container, quoting a flat figure, and putting the drop and the pull on the board
  • Reaching you about a delivery window, a swap, a locked gate or an account
  • Raising an invoice and settling it
  • Keeping the records that tax, insurance and disposal require to be kept — a disposal record is tied to the material and to where the material came from, which is one reason a service address is not deleted the week the box is collected
  • Working out which of the guides on this site are earning their place and which are not

None of it is sold. None of it is handed to another company to market to you. We do not pass your name or address to another hauler, and where the honest answer to your question is a public desk rather than us — Public Works on (270) 737-7890, County Solid Waste on (270) 360-9207, Planning and Development on (270) 769-5479 — we hand you the number and let you make that call yourself rather than making it on your behalf.

Cookies

Cookies and similar storage may be used here for basic functionality and for anonymous analytics. There is no advertising network embedded on this site, no remarketing pixel and no cross-site profile being assembled. Every mainstream browser will refuse cookies outright or clear the ones already set, from its own settings, and the site reads perfectly well without them; the embedded map on the contact page is the one element that may stop behaving.

The short list of companies that touch any of it

Four kinds of provider, and no more: whoever hosts this website, an analytics provider, the embedded Google map, and the accounting and payment processors an invoice runs through. Each is permitted to use what it holds only to deliver its service to us. Anything embedded from somewhere else — the map is the only such thing here — sits under that provider’s own privacy policy rather than under this one.

How long it is kept

A job record stays with us while the account needs servicing and for as long as tax, insurance and disposal record-keeping require it to be kept, which in practice runs to several years rather than several months. Site analytics is retained only in aggregate. Notes that were only ever useful on the day — a gate code, a neighbor’s truck to be worked around — go when the job closes.

Asking us to change it or be rid of it

Ask what is held against your name and you will be told what it is. Ask for a correction and it is corrected. Ask for deletion and everything we are not obliged to retain is deleted. Ask not to be contacted again and you will not be. Ring (270) 900-6891 or write to info@elizabethtowndumpsterrental.com, and if it is easier to say it to the same person who took the original booking, that is usually who answers.

Keeping it safe

The strongest protection on a small operation is holding little in the first place, and that is the one we lean on. Access is limited to the people who dispatch trucks and raise invoices. No payment card details are stored on our own systems. No system anywhere is perfectly secure, so if something ever went wrong with what we hold, you would be told about it rather than left to find out.

Changes to this page

Any material change is published here with the date at the top revised to match, and continuing to use the site afterwards is acceptance of the revised version. If something on this page is unclear, the number at the top of every page on this site reaches somebody who can explain it: (270) 900-6891.

Talk to a real person

Done reading? The booking is a phone call

Nothing on this page is a substitute for the two minutes it takes to size a box out loud. Give us the street address, a sentence about what is going in, and where you want it to stand, and the size, the flat figure and the day are settled before you hang up.

No form, no booking screen, no callback queue — just the yard on 4675 N Dixie Hwy answering the phone
